When 2023 kicked off, OpTic Gaming let go of several staff members, following a trend that had surfaced at the time that was seeing thousands of esports and gaming industry employees ***** off from their jobs. Back then, it wasn’t confirmed by the company how many people were dismissed, and it looks like the same operating model is being deployed this time.

On social media, several former OpTic Gaming employees have posted heartfelt messages following their dismissal from the company:
