Space Marine 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the highly popular original released in 2011. The sequel will take players back to the dark and atmospheric Warhammer 40,000 universe.

The new installment promises to bring back the eponymous hack-and-slash combat and lore of the first game, with major upgrades to gameplay and graphics that come with new technology. 

However, despite all this, fans of the franchise might need to be patient when it comes to one specific feature. The iconic beaked helmets are yet to be confirmed for the game, and this has left fans wondering whether these classic elements will eventually make their way into Space Marine 2. 

Space Marine Beaked Helmets are Standard for Marine Corps 

Beaked helmets, often called Beakies by fans, are one of the standout features of the Space Marines. These originate from the early days of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The helmets are part of the Mark 6 ‘Corvus’ power armor, designed for and during the time of technological advancement and warfare. 

The beak on these helmets was designed to store additional advanced sensors that pose an advantage on the battlefield for Space Marines. 

While Space Marine 2 hasn’t confirmed beaked helmets, these will certainly add more depth to the gameplay.
