Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 was one of the biggest success stories of 2024 but it also lost its fanbase as quickly as it gained it. The developers at Arrowhead tried everything they could but nothing could convince the fans to keep the game in their libraries. Eventually, many players found the game boring and uninstalled it.

Helldivers 2 was released for PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8th February 2024, and it quickly became one of the most popular video games in the world, however, the game’s co-op PvE gameplay slowly became repetitive and boring. Due to stiff competition, Helldivers 2 started to lose its fanbase at an alarming rate but Arrowhead has now come up with a plan.

A post is currently going viral on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit that points out that 60 days will not be enough to fix the game. 60 days is a long time and as per the post, players will forget about the game by the time Arrowhead Game Studios fixes the game. Not only that, but the community also believes that this is an unrealistic deadline and Arrowhead will fail to fulfill its promise.

To some extent, this post is right, however, this is a do-or-**** situation for Arrowhead Game Studios. If their plan is ********* properly, they will convince fans to return to the game. Given how terrible the game has performed over the past few months, Arrowhead will certainly come up with new ideas to improve the game.

In their 60-day plan, Arrowhead will re-examine its approach to balance, improve the ***** damage mechanic, rework gameplay in terms of ragdolling, improve combat, re-work primary ******* designs, improve frame rate, rework chargers, and fix bugs. All the changes will be made after analyzing players’ feedback.
