After remaining silent for a while, the Space Marine 2 developer team has become super-active in answering all the queries players want them to clarify before the game comes. The game is less than two weeks away, and even at this point, multiple queries are unsolved, and the console performance of the game was among the top ones.

About how Space Marine 2 will run on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, Focus Entertainment confirmed that on both consoles, players can enjoy Quality Mode and Performance Mode. While the Quality mode will run the game on 4K resolution at 30FPS, the Performance mode will have up to 60FPS at 1080p. 

Well, there’s a slight twist that must not be ignored, especially for Xbox players. While the above will be true for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S players will encounter slight differences in performance.

On the Xbox Series S, the Performance Mode won’t be available at all. Though Quality Mode will be there, the game will be run on 1440p at 30FPS. That’s, of course, lower than the frame rate and resolution other consoles get.

With this revelation, Focus Entertainment has kept its promise to release Space Marine 2 console performance this week. Although it has resolved queries and relieved most console players, Xbox Series X players aren’t happy. First, they are losing an entire mode, and second, the game will run on low FPS.
