Final Fantasy 14 lead producer and director Naoki Yoshida acknowledged the possibility of bringing the game to Nintendo's systems, saying it is a "goal" the developers are working towards.

is continuing to see plenty of success in 2024 after it's initial launch 11 years ago. The game has seen numerous revamps and story expansions in the past decade, with the fifth one, Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail, launching earlier this past July.
