MinRes, IGO and Red 5 among the miners that fared best and worst from the FY2024 results rush

The dust has now settled on reporting season, leaving a trail of winners and losers from the ASX’s mining contingent. IGO, Mineral Resources and Red 5 were some of the names that stood out.

IGO’s year has been rough to say the least. Being heavily exposed to the two most out of favour commodities at the moment — lithium and nickel — has more than halved its share price in 12 months.
