Arthur George Jack Prosser & Arthur George Calderwood: Two men face court after brawl at junior footy game

Two men — believed to be father and son — have faced court accused of being involved in a vicious brawl on the sidelines of a junior ******’ AFL game.

Arthur George Jack Prosser, 18, and Arthur George Calderwood, 50, faced Perth Magistrate’s Court on Friday both charged with ******** occasioning bodily harm.

The ****** broke out in the final minutes of a round 11 juniors game between Mt Lawley-Inglewood and High Wycombe at Hamer Park Reserve on July 26, which left several people injured.

It is understood several spectators became rowdy after a High Wycombe player received a yellow and subsequent red card for rough conduct on-field.

Footage of the incident showed streams of other parents and supporters then swarming when the fighting started in an attempt to break up the altercation.

Both Mr Prosser and Mr Calderwood did not enter pleas. Their case was adjourned so they could get legal advice and they will return to court on September 27.

A third man, a 54-year-old from Kewdale, also believed to have been involved in the brawl, has been charged with disorderly behaviour and will face court on September 2.
