Perth Airport: Travellers urged to double check bookings as Jetstar domestic moves to Terminal 2 in September

Holidaymakers are urged to double-check flight bookings next month ahead of a major *********** airline switching terminals at Perth Airport.

Jetstar domestic services will move to Terminal 2 as of Monday next week, after having previously operated out of Terminals 3 and 4.

All international Jetstar services will remain at Terminal 1.

Perth Airport CEO Jason Waters said commuters should check they are heading to the correct terminal before a flight.

“If you are travelling to Perth Airport for a departing flight — please plan your journey, allow extra time and double-check your itinerary to make sure you are heading to the right terminal,” Mr Waters said.

Construction is currently underway to build a multi-storey car park within the T1 Short-Term Parking area at the airport, which may cause further delays, Mr Waters said.

“As always with construction works in an operating environment – there may be impacts to our passengers, so we recommend allowing extra time when travelling through Perth Airport,” Mr Waters added.

Construction on the car park is expected to be completed in 2027.

Upcoming upgrades to the airport — which are estimated to cost $5 billion — also include a new terminal, an expansion to the international terminal, a new runway and Perth’s first airport hotel.
