, Stellar Blade‘s director, Kim Hyung-tae, was asked to comment on the comparisons that gamers are making between Stellar Blade and games like Nier: Automata and Sekiro: Shadows **** Twice,

“Of course, we were influenced by many action games that have been released so far, but we did not focus on any one work in particular. The identity pursued by Stellar Blade is unique to us.”

Stellar Blade‘s demo was released on the PlayStation store on 29th March, giving fans a taste of what they can expect from the full game. While there are some controversies surrounding Eve’s outfits, the demo’s response has motivated the developers.

In the demo, players engage in battles that showcase stunning visuals and heart-pumping combat. Another exciting detail about Stellar Blade is its utilization of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller’s haptic feedback.

“Sometimes we design from scratch, and sometimes we brush up on something taken in the 3D scanning studio that we showed you on the studio tour – In addition to real-life costumes, some are influenced by anime and movies. When it comes to design, we try to think without limits and express the diverse charms of the main characters.”

Stellar Blade was first announced in 2019 and after being in production for 5 years, the game will finally released exclusively for PlayStation 5 users on April 26th, 2024. There are no plans for the game’s expansion as of now, but Hyung-tae has confirmed that new skins and many technical changes will roll out as soon as the game is released.
