The First Descendant is kicking off its seasonal cycle with season one, but there’s more content in the works, both big and small, including large-scale narrative updates.

 producer Beomjun Lee, seasons aim to bring “individual stories of the Descendants and expand the world-building.” This includes one Descendant-specific storyline per season, like Bunny’s in pre-season and Freyna’s in season one. At the same time, to push the broader story of the game (including a final confrontation with Karel), Nexon is preparing large-scale updates.
