[STEAM] Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster Reemerges with a March Release Date

After an unexpected delay and quietly vanishing for a year, Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster has reemerged with a new release date of March 6, 2025.

In today's Nintendo Partner Direct, we got a new look at the remastered collection, whose full title is Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster: Gate Dawn and Dunan Unification Wars. The trailer highlighted two new features being added in the remaster, the ability to speed up combat to 2x and 4x speeds, and an auto-battle button.

with a plan for a 2023 release date. At the time, we learned that the game would be getting a significant visual overhaul with new screen effects, pixel sprites, and environment art. All character portraits have been updated in HD, and the portraits in the first game have been newly redrawn. There are additional improvements to sound and small feature improvements, including a dialogue log.
