Forget Elden Ring and **** of War, ****** Myth Wukong Is Now Being Compared To Zelda

****** Myth Wukong has surpassed all expectations, industry and fan alike by amassing gargantuan single-player numbers. Other single-player heavyweights, **** of War and Elden Ring pale in comparison, as the Games Science gem gets compared to some of the most iconic titles in the gaming world.

Among these titles, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time stands out, not just for its popularity but for bringing groundbreaking technology to gaming and its legacy that lives until the present day.

Ocarina of Time Was the Groundbreaking Game of the Decade

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, released by Nintendo in 1998 for Nintendo 64 was more than a revolution in the gaming industry of the time. It set the standard for action-adventure games as the first game in the series to have 3D graphics.

This only made the rich world of Hyrule more detailed than ever before as the beloved Link embarks on a quest to stop the evil king Ganondorf.

The game’s development was led by key figures such as Eiji Aonuma, Yoshiaki Koizumi, and Shigeru Miyamoto, introducing several gameplay mechanics that later became benchmarks for future 3D games, such as a target-lock system known as “Z-targeting” and context-sensitive buttons.

Thanks to the technology of the time, Ocarina had fantastic combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving, all seen in today’s games, including Wukong

In terms of commercial and critical success, Ocarina received more than three times more pre-orders than any other game at the time. Since then, the game has been seen on lists of the best and most influential games more frequently than other titles, ensuring its legacy ********.

Talking about the legacy, Ocarina has been re-released on every one of Nintendo’s home consoles, and an enhanced version was released in 2011 for Nintendo 3DS.

to say that Wukong is this generation’s Ocarina, which speaks about its surprising popularity.

However, while Wukong certainly deserved all the overwhelmingly positive reviews, one player said that this is like comparing a Mercedes to a Prius for many reasons.

Many fans have joined in the debate, mainly negative comments saying that Wukong will never reach the enduring legacy the Ocarina of Time enjoys and that this action RPG is a one-week wonder.

Nevertheless, Wukong is still a fantastic action RPG experience and for a debut triple-A game from an indie studio, to have it compared with such giants is undeniably a massive success.

The game takes inspiration from several titles in the genre, including Sekiro: Shadows **** Twice, and many more already listed, and combines it into a spectacle of boss fights, rewarding exploration, and rich lore waiting to be discovered.

What are your thoughts on ****** Myth Wukong? Can it become the next Ocarina of Time or was this just a sarcastic jab at the community? Let us know in the comments below.
