It is only a few weeks before Space Marine 2 players finally jump into the most-awaited journey with Captain Titus. But this waiting time is full of excitement, frustration, anxiety, and controversies. As new updates are making their way to the community, players have been overflowing with different emotions. 

In recent times, microtransactions have become a part of most games, as players need to purchase in-game goods with real-world currencies. Though previously it was reported that the upcoming Warhammer 40K installment would have them only at a cosmetic level, it seems like fans are not even dissatisfied with them.

Space Marine 2 Fans Are Open to Spending Money on In-Game Costumes and Packs

Microtransactions are generally part of free-to-play games where purchasing in-game goods with real-world money makes profits for the developers. Well, players often hate that they need to spend a decent amount to purchase battle passes or loot boxes for random items and weapons.

Therefore, naturally, when Space Marine 2 was announced, they were curious about the feature, and to relieve them, Focus Entertainment revealed a few months ago that the game would only have microtransactions for cosmetics.

Well, this was an announcement from May 2024, and when the game is almost at the edge of release, players seem to be not at all unhappy to spend money on the “Chaos Customization DLC.”

This is pretty surprising, for sure, but players are warmly welcoming microtransactions in Space Marine 2.

Focus Entertainment Still Has Lots of Queries to Solve Before the Game Launches

Focus Entertainment has become relatively silent about the upcoming game, which has been giving players some trouble. Though there are a lot of things that players know about the game, some issues are still unknown, and those seem to be the most vital. 

Among these unsolved issues, the first is the console performance of the game. The PC specs and performance have already been revealed, but PlayStation 5 and Xbox players are not sure about how the game will perform on consoles, which has become a great concern for them. 

Of course, they aren’t happy with the game lagging or running at low FPS after they pay for it. Another thing that players want Focus to clarify is the shipping process for the Collector’s Edition of the game. 

While the pre-ordered versions are supposed to arrive earlier, so players can access the game four days before the official launch, there’s no update on the shipment of the orders. They are not even sure whether the code will come via email or if it will be inside the box.
