What to Watch: Only Murders in the Building, Last King of the Cross, The Lord of the Rings and K-Pop Idols

Only Murders In The Building S4Tuesday, streaming on Disney Plus

Everyone’s favourite New Yorkers are headed for California for the fourth season of Only Murders In the Building.

Which may seem strange — after all the city, or more specifically the Arconia, the apartment building at the centre of Oliver (Martin Short), Charles (Steve Martin) and Mabel’s (Selena Gomez) story, is almost a character in its own right.

How on earth will the show manage to maintain its spirit when it’s all the way on the other side of the country?

And what are they doing there anyway?

All will become clear, but if you’ve seen the trailer, you’ll know it’s because the trio have been approached by a Hollywood studio about the possibility of turning their podcast into a film.

Will they go through with it?

And if they do, how will it play with the events we saw play out at the Arconia in the finale of last season, which saw Charles’ friend and stunt double Sazz (Jane ******) meet a sticky end whilst visiting Charles’ upstairs apartment to fetch a bottle of malbec.

All will be revealed, and while we can’t tell you too much, we will say this: expect the unexpected.

Look out for some incredible guest stars this season, including Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Melissa McCarthy and Eva Longoria.

Trust us — you won’t want to miss this one.

For over a century, the world has been obsessed with the true story of the sinking of The Titanic. Until now, it’s always been told in ****** and white and it’s always felt quite abstract. But there’s something about seeing the colourised video and photographs that make this feel vivid and eerily real. The photographs also convey how truly opulent the ship was — one for history buffs.

Season one might have taken an eternity to get going, but get ready to hit the ground running as the first three episodes of the new season drop this week. If early teasers are an indication, we’re in for a sensational second season. This one concerns itself with the re-emergence of Sauron (Charlie Vickers), who’s here to oversee the creation of the Rings of Power. It’s not good news for anyone in Middle Earth. Can’t wait for you to see this.

If you’re a big K-pop fan, you’re no doubt eagerly awaiting this six-part documentary, which promises fans a chance to gain an “unprecedented backstage pass” to hang with some of Korea’s biggest names. We’re talking Jessi, Cravity and Blackswan, all big-money acts, all as hard-working as they come, all determined to reach the summit of the highly-competitive K-pop world.

The first two episodes of the new season drop this Friday, promising to immerse viewers back into the world of John Ibrahim (Lincoln Younes) and his, ahem, “associates”. We pick up with the kingpin arriving back in Sydney from Ibiza (of course he fled there) — and Kings Cross is most definitely not the place he left. It’s now time to turn his attention to Oxford Street.
