They can be found at shrines, as boss drops, and occasionally in wooden chests. Mind Cores can be given to Xu Dog at Crouching Tiger Temple from Chapter 2 onward in exchange for Celestial Medicines. Each type of Celestial Medicine upgrades a different stat, such as Maximum Health.
