Yaoguai Cores are one of the most important crafting materials in ****** Myth Wukong. This rare crafting material isn’t easy to come by, so we created this guide detailing the locations of Yaoguai Cores and the best ways to obtain them.

Where to find Yaoguai Cores in ****** Myth Wukong

The three main ways to acquire Yaoguai Cores in ****** Myth Wukong are by defeating elite enemies and bosses, looting chests, or purchasing them from the store at a Keeper’s Shrine.

While not a guaranteed drop, main bosses and side/hidden bosses tend to have the highest chance of dropping Yaoguai Cores. The same goes for the more challenging enemies or ones that don’t respawn after defeating them one time. Usually an ****** that rewards you with their spirit will drop a Yaoguai Core.

Exploring as much as possible and opening chests is also another great way to earn Yaoguai Cores. I have realized that chests are very well hidden, so make sure to search every ***** and cranny of every area to increase your chances of finding chests with Yaoguai Cores.

The absolute best way to get Yaoguai Cores in ****** Myth Wukong is by purchasing them from the store at a Keeper’s Shrine. Yaoguai Cores become available at the store starting at Chapter 2 and only go for 900 Will. If you’re short on Will and can’t afford the Yaoguai Core, you can always sell items or Pieces of Gold to possibly earn enough Will for the purchase.

Best way to farm Yaoguai Cores

The farming method I have been using to acquire a ton of Yaoguai Cores is by ******** tons of enemies for Will, searching for Pieces of Gold, and then returning to the store to sell the Pieces of Gold for even more Will. This method allows you to purchase many Yaoguai Cores for your crafting needs.

Enemies will always reward Will, as well as a slight chance of dropping Pieces of Gold. I recommend searching for chests since they have the highest chance of containing Tiny Pieces of Gold, which sell for 90 a piece. Remember, Yaoguai Cores only cost 900 Will at the store, which really isn’t much if you’re ******** all enemies you come in contact with and selling items.

Yaoguai Core’s main purpose is to craft weapons at Keeper’s Shrines, especially in the early game. I highly recommend checking the crafting menu whenever you find Yaoguai Cores to see if there’s any ******* available that’s better than the one you’re currently using. The good news is that the game will show a red dot next to “Craft Weapons” if there is a new upgrade available.
