Thai police forensic units and rescue officials were on Friday (August 23) investigating the site of a plane ******, in which authorities believe there were no survivors.

The Cessna Caravan C208B plane, carrying five tourists from China and four Thais including two pilots, was bound for Trat province in eastern Thailand. It lost contact with ground control 11 minutes after taking off from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport on Thursday (August 22) afternoon.

The plane crashed about 100 km (62 miles) east of Bangkok in Chachoengsao province. The provincial governor, Chonlatee Yongtrong, said that all the passengers and pilots of the charter plane, owned by Thai Flying Service Company Limited, ***** in the ******.

The search operation which started on Thursday night continued into Friday along with the investigation of the cause of the ****** and forensic test of the body parts that have been found.
