Star Wars Outlaws Could be Ubisoft’s Saving Grace as Fans Can’t Get Enough of Latest Gameplay Reveal

Star Wars Outlaws is the latest game made by Ubisoft that will catch the eyes and ears of fans of the franchise and allow them to fulfill their fantasy of being immersed in a galaxy far, far away. The game will feature an open world and will showcase the power of current-gen systems giving the players a more in-depth and detailed look at the various worlds of Star Wars.

Ubisoft has a traditional formula of how they usually develop their games but the recent gameplay shows a great deviation. It can be viewed as a positive change of pace within the studio for willingly experimenting with different ways of how to build an open world. Star Wars Outlaws is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi which could explain the game’s fast-paced nature and combat.

It would seem like the game is GTA meeting the Star Wars franchise with all the combat options and vehicles that were shown in the short clip above. If the level of consistency that was featured is present for the majority of the game, then it is the ultimate dream for Star Wars fans. Perhaps this game will serve as the perfect compensation for the cancellation of EA and Respawn’s Star Wars project based on the Mandalorian.

Players should always be cautious when it comes to gaming after history has shown time and time again that not everything that developers have shown in previews is going to be in the final cut of the finished product. It will save them from disappointment and emotional damage and teach them to measure expectations.

The Best Star Wars Game Is Coming From Ubisoft

Star Wars Outlaws is the first open-world game set in the Star Wars universe and boasts a great deal of activities and scale.

The game is developed by Massive Entertainment during the same time Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora which both share a similar vibe and atmosphere, and understand the level of anticipation and care the fanbase has for Star Wars.

Unlike the Star Wars Jedi games that were made by EA and Respawn Entertainment, this game utilizes a far more refined form of gameplay and even grants players the option to tackle any combat scenario with pure stealth or by going loud. The ability to use vehicles are also fully recognized with the small chase sequence, and the **** play resembles the ***** eye targeting system of Red ***** Redemption.

Ubisoft is known for the *********’s Creed franchise which heavily focuses on stealth and parkour, but their take on a Star Wars project is proving to be a positive change of pace for the studio themselves, however, it is still worth noting that the majority of the games that released are either underwhelming or flat out disappointing lately. Perhaps Star Wars Outlaws could be ground-breaking but it is not a bad idea to cautiously managed expectations.
