The Obamas received lengthy cheers and applause from the crowds as they talked about “hope” and took aim at Donald Trump.

Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle received lengthy cheers and applause from the crowds as they talked about “hope” and took aim at Donald Trump, while speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The Obamas endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic party’s president candidate in the 2024 US election.

The couple gave back-to-back speeches, in which they both called on Democrats to vote, saying November’s election was going to be a close call.
