AFLW Western Derby: Marquee clash moved away from Optus Stadium due to turf redevelopment

Optus Stadium’s under-***** turf has caused an AFLW derby switch, with October’s game between West Coast and Fremantle moved away from the venue due to redevelopment works.

The derby – scheduled as the only clash between the WA rivals this season – will now be played at Leederville Oval.
