Autobarn owner Bapcor posts $158m loss amid ‘significant disruptions’

Under-pressure Autobarn owner Bapcor has posted a $158.3 million loss in fiscal 2024 in what it says was a challenging year with significant disruption to the business.

Bapcor — which also operates the Burson, Autopro and Midas brands — said the loss included post significant items of $253.1m from mostly non-cash and related impairments and write downs in the retail segment, as previously foreshadowed.
