Record Santos dividend despite fall in profit, sales

Gas giant Santos has posted a fall in first-half net profit and sales volumes amid economic uncertainty and lower prices but ******** upbeat about ****** demand.

Santos on Wednesday reported a 19 per cent fall in net profit to US$636 million in the six months to June 30 as sales revenue fell nine per cent to US$2.7 billion.
