However, one long-awaited title, Silksong will still not be there. The news was confirmed by host Keighley himself, probably for fans to lower their expectations of seeing the game at the event. This has saddened fans who’ve waiting quite long for Team Cherry to reveal more about the sequel. Silksong Will Not Be at Gamescom After the success of Hollow Knight, the developer announced the sequel, Silksong in 2019 with a trailer and a dev diary video, exciting fans. Fans were hoping for the game to be featured at the Gamescom ONL but host Keighley has confirmed that it will be not be at the event. The developer did announce at the Xbox/ Bethesda Games Showcase in 2022 that the game would be coming to Xbox and Game Pass on day one. The game was then scheduled to launch in 2023 but was delayed. As per the latest update, the game is still under development and the team is hard at work. Although there are no details on the game’s launch window, fans hope that the developer will probably bring it by next year, if not this year, and hope that the game surpasses the experience of the original title.
