(FOX40.COM) — Multiple vehicles caught ***** after they were involved in a ****** on Interstate 80 in Sacramento on Monday afternoon.

The ****** happened around 4:30 p.m. on eastbound I-80 shortly before it reaches I-5 and involved five vehicles, three of which caught *****.

One person ***** and another three were injured, according to emergency personnel who responded to the ******.

Officials said a truck heading eastbound crashed into several vehicles that were stopped, with the truck and two vehicles catching *****.

The driver of the truck survived with minor injuries and the driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced ***** at the site.
