Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a vehicle ***** on Mitchell Freeway northbound at Hodges Drive, Heathridge.

The freeway has been reduced to a single lane and DFES are on site as dark smoke bellows from the car.

Main Roads has advised motorists to exercise extreme caution as they approach the area.
