Pokemon Go Needs to Give Up Origin Design and Allow the Players 1 Feature Which Would ***** the Game Wide Open

It’s been eight years since the release of Pokemon Go, and the game has seen the over 1000 Pokemon added as creatures that can be found and captured while adventuring outside in the real world! The smash hit truly revolutionized the mobile gaming genre.

With the way Niantic constantly brings new updates and content additions to the game, there’s always something for players, both new and old, to do. However, it’s truly mind-boggling how Niantic won’t give the game one change that would allow it to dominate the genre, just like in 2016.

Pokemon Go Desperately Needs Global Trading

Sure, Niantic has given us plenty of new additions and overhauls since the game’s release. However, Pokemon Go trading has been the same for years. Players need to befriend their frequent trading trainers and send them gifts to increase friendship levels, which reduces the stardust cost for trades.

It’s a great way to foster social connections among players, but at the core of this system ***** an issue: trainers need to meet each other to make the trades.

This specific requirement proves to be quite a big barrier for trainers, especially for those who are lucky friends with someone halfway across the globe and have no way of ever meeting them.

believe that Pokemon Go would be instantly better if Niantic brings global trading to the game. This can be a recurring event that would allow trainers across the globe to trade with each other and help fill their Pokedex.

There’s no doubt that such a massive change in Pokemon Go would fit right in with the game’s community aspect and improve the overall accessibility, all without making the challenge to catch ’em all too easy!

A few trainers even went as far as to say that they’ll pay for remote raids, as they have zero chance of trading with their Pokemon Go lucky friends who live far away.

Niantic Must Listen to Pokemon Go Players and Bring Changes

Even though Pokemon Go is one of the most popular mobile games out there, the last couple of updates have been a massive disappointment for the entire community. Niantic’s plans for the games are failing; players feel that could lead to the eventual downfall of the mobile spinoff.

The studio, for its part, has never given any indication that it’s considering overhauling the established trading mechanics. The past comments on the matter suggest that the steep cost of exchanging Pokemon is a way to prevent players from botting to get rare monsters and sending them to their main accounts.

While the developer indeed has some valid reasons for keeping the trading system as it is, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s pretty limiting. If Niantic truly wants to regain the lost ground in the last couple of months, such a change could help bring back a massive number of players to the game.

Let’s hope Niantic takes a look at the player feedback and gets on top of its issues to finally bring a Pokemon Go trading update that unites trainers all across the world.

Do you think Pokemon Go needs a global trading system? If so, let us know in the comments.
