undergoing significant leadership changeover.

Eleven OASD schools are set to welcome new principals for the upcoming school year following a series of retirements, transfers and resignations.

Here is a list of the new principals.

Oshkosh West: Rebecca Montour

Montour served as the former assistant principal at Maplewood Middle School and replaces Lewis Malczewski, who resigned in June. Montour was once the assistant principal at Oshkosh West.

Vel Phillips Middle: Amanda Patza

Patza was the principal of Jefferson Elementary and replaces Kristi Levy, who resigned in July.

Carl Traeger Middle: Alexandra Piester

Piester was a curriculum and assessment instructional support teacher (IST) at Carl Traeger Middle School and replaces Jill Pascarella, who retired at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

Perry Tipler Middle/ALPs: Tyler Umentum

Umentum was an assistant principal at Oshkosh North and replaces Sarah Poquette, who resigned from Perry Tipler Middle School to serve as the district administrator of the School District of Oakfield.

Carl Traeger Elementary: Kristin Burgert

Burgert was the principal of Roosevelt Elementary and replaces Brenna Garrison-Bruden, who retired at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

Franklin Elementary: Kathryn Noble

Noble was the principal of Washington Elementary and replaces Jami Kohl, who retired at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

Jefferson Elementary: Amy Ashton

Ashton was the principal of Lakeside Elementary and replaces Amanda Patza, who left to take the position at Vel Phillips Middle School.

Lakeside Elementary: Ryan King

King was an assistant principal of Rock River Intermediate School and replaces Amy Ashton, who left to take the position at Jefferson Elementary.

Menominee Elementary: Elizabeth Galeazzi

Galeazzi was the principal of Webster Stanley Elementary School and was selected to lead the new Menominee Elementary School.

Roosevelt Elementary: Elizabeth Armstrong

Armstrong was a literacy instructional support teacher (IST) and reading recovery teacher for the former Merrill and Webster Stanley Elementary Schools and replaces Kristin Burgert, who left to take the position at Carl Traeger Elementary.

Shapiro STEM Academy: Courtney Willert

Willert was a math instructional support teacher at Roosevelt Elementary and replaces Lindsey Biesack, who resigned at the end of the 2023-204 school year.
