Motorcycle rider rushed to Royal Perth Hospital after falling off bike in Wandi

A man is being rushed to hospital after he fell off his motorbike and collided with a car in Perth’s south on Monday afternoon.

A Triumph motorcycle rider was driving in Wandi on Kenby Chase, near the Lyon Road and Waratah Way intersection, just before 4pm when he fell off and collided with a Honda.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, including police and two St John ambulance crews.

The man in his 30s injuries are understood to be not life-threatening but serious. The occupants of the car were not injured.

The RAC rescue helicopter was on its way to the ****** but has since been stood down.

An ambulance crew is driving the rider to Royal Perth Hospital under normal road conditions.
