Members of the public apprehend man accused of stealing a ute and driving recklessly

An alleged dramatic pursuit of a stolen car through Centennial Park on Friday morning ended in a citizen’s arrest after two members of the public allegedly took the law into their own hands.

The 36-year-old Perth man is alleged to have stolen a white Isuzu DMAX ute at around 7am on Friday from a Centennial Park business before driving recklessly along Lockyer Avenue, North Road, and Bethel Way.
