Newman locals handpicked to take on Kokoda Trail for Y WA leadership program

Seven Newman locals have been handpicked to take on Papua New Guinea’s gruelling Kokoda Trail as part of a challenging but empowering leadership program.

The Y WA selected 21 young people aged between 15-25 from the Perth metro, Pilbara and Goldfields to take on the six-month-long 2024 Kokoda Leadership and Development Program for its second year.
