Premier Roger Cook urges striking Fremantle Port workers to take ‘generous deal’

Fremantle Port workers on strike over demands of pay equity with regional peers should accept the “generous” offer on the table, Premier Roger Cook says, claiming the industrial action has not affected operations.

As workers walked off the job at 5.30am on Sunday, Mr Cook said some ships had been rushed into the port before the strike in order to minimise the disruption.
