John Todd: Football legends to honour WAFL and Eagles coach at State Memorial

A grateful public will this week pay its respects to a giant of WA footy as John Todd — a generational talent and record-shattering coach — is farewelled at a State memorial packed with legends of the game.

Todd, who was born in Manjimup in 1938 and ***** aged 86 this June, was quickly seen as one of the best players the State had seen when he won a Sandover Medal for South Fremantle at the age of 17.
