Pokemon Go‘s 2024 World Championship Celebration kicked off on August 16th at 10 AM and will end on Tuesday, August 20th, at 8 PM local time. Players can participate in various field research tasks and take on a timed research quest, which can reward them with multiple items and encounters with some of the strongest PvP Pokemon!

The game has also added a new costumed Pikachu as part of the World Championships Celebration event. This particular Pikachu is only available to catch during the event, and you can encounter it through raids and field research tasks.

You can take the event experience to the next level by purchasing the Premium Timed Research for $5 USD or local currency equivalent. This special ticket consists of different tasks that will require you to use super-effective charged attacks, win raid battles, and much more.

The ticket will also reward you with the legendary Cresselia, which is ranked relatively high in various leagues.
