Michael Walters’ first official WAFL appearance in more than 10 years saw Peel Thunder get over Swan Districts by 31 points in a low-scoring affair at Lane Group Stadium.

In need of match minutes after a stint as the substitute was followed by a hamstring injury, the veteran had limited impact but got through unscathed as the Thunder maintained top spot on the ladder with a 7.12 (54) to 3.5 (23) victory.
