Ahead of the New Battlefield Release, It’s Inarguable One Years Old Entry is Still Far Better Than Most Call of Duty Games

Call of Duty and Battlefield‘s rivalry is still unparalleled to this date. There are games in the series’ that make the fans drool over the mechanics and visuals of the game. Recently, they were seen getting nostalgic over one of the video games from the latter series.

Battlefield 3 was released 13 years ago, and fans think that its campaign has aged very well. The latest entry in the series didn’t have a campaign and focused solely on multiplayer, especially battle royale. It ******* to deliver the magic that EA’s military shooter has delivered over the years.

It wasn’t just the action-filled campaign but the reintroduction of elements from Bad Company that made Battlefield 3 a worthy military shooter. Even today, many Call of Duty games fail to compete with it.

From Paris to the Persian Gulf, the game featured some of the most beautiful locations that gave the fans a visual treat of their lives. As EA moves towards the next Battlefield game in the series, fans hope to see the military shooter return to its former glory.

Thankfully, they still have something to adore, as the latest entry in Battlefield still struggles to captivate them. In one post shared over social media platform X (formerly

Fans really enjoyed the game back in the day.

They hope to see some elements of it in the upcoming games.

Let’s hope it will be playable and fans will have something to adore again unlike the latest entry.

The story begins with Sergeant Henry “******” Blackburn’s squad, dubbed Misfit 1, investigating an improvised explosive device (IED). Things take a turn when they are ambushed and then hit by a city-wide earthquake.

Users control four players during the campaign but control Blackburn for the better half of the story. Other operators include Sgt. Jonathan “Jono” Miller, Lt. Jennifer “Wedge” Colby Hawkins, and Dimitri “Dima” Mayakovsky.

It’s direct sequel, Battlefield 4, was released in 2013 and takes place after six years of its prequel. It too received positive reviews but was banned in China after the release of its DLC, China Rising.

The nation deemed it to be a threat to their security owing to the inclusion of four maps depicting regions of the ******** mainland. Even with these games being banned in China, they still became popular around the world.
