How to Unlock Darkanas in Vampire Survivors

Darkanas are a new type of Arcana in Vampire Survivors that can modify weapons and enemies with different effects or additional stats. Here is how to unlock Darkanas in Vampire Survivors.

How to Unlock Room 1665 in Vampire Survivors

The 1.11 update for Vampire Survivors had added a new stage and the Darkanas relic in a free update that does not require any of the DLC packs. The new Room 1665 stage is required to get the Darkanas relic.

Players can unlock the Room 1665 challenge stage by typing “forbiddenbox” at the Secrets menu. The Secrets menu can be found at the main menu, though players will have to defeat Sketamari before the menu is unlocked.

Typing it in will immediately throw players into the new stage. Although, players can safely quit out and select the level from the stage selection at any time after.

How to Get Darkanas in Vampire Survivors

Vampire Survivors players will simply have to reach the bottom of the Room 1665 stage to acquire the Darkanas relic. The stage is a series of small square rooms with narrow hallways connecting them.

The challenge stage can be filled with tough enemies depending on your upgrades and egg-upgraded characters are seemingly not working. I completed the run with Queen Sigma, who was able to tank through the hordes with a high defense.

Most of the rooms will be closed off until players defeat a certain number of enemies, which will then open the hallway to the next square room. The Darkanas relic will be in the last room at the bottom and there are no boss monsters required to defeat for it. Players can then safely quit out of the stage to unlock Darkanas.

Players will also receive the Moonlight Bolero VI Darkana alongside the relic. There are four other Darkanas that players can earn from the update including:

• Sapphire Mist I – Reach a Cooldown bonus of -85% with Space Dude.
• Hail from the Future X – Trigger a Weird Souls Purifier with Santa Ladonna.
• Crystal Cries XII – Trigger a Starry Heavens with She-Moon Eeta.
• Wandering the Jet ****** XXI – Reach 665 Max Health with Bat Robbert.
