has revealed that Warner Bros. Discovery has approached developers who have worked with its associated publisher ****** Swim Games, telling them that they are pulling their games from console stores and Steam. Developer Owen Reedy, who released the puzzle-adventure game Small Radios Big Televisions through ****** Swim Games in 2016, was the first one to reveal the info on his X account,

“WarnerBros Discovery have informed me they will be ‘retiring’ my game Small Radios Big Televisions from both Steam and PS4 stores.”

As a result, Reedy made the game free to download using an attached link. Fans believe that the President and CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, will ruin the company with these decisions.

Under this move, more than 18 games will be removed or delisted from console stores and Steam, including games like Ghost Song, Pool Panic, ******’s Gambit, Headlander, and Bionic Chainsaw Pogo Gorilla.

Warner Bros. Discovery refused to transfer ownership

The Warner Bros. Discovery

When Polygon approached developer Michael Molinari to reveal more information about this move, he revealed that Warner Bros. Discovery refused to transfer ownership. Molinari, who released Soundodger+ through ****** Swim Games in 2013, explained in an email,

“I don’t know if they’re delisting it or deleting it – I pleaded with the rep to transfer ownership to my company, as I still retain all IP and game rights. I sent him a link to Steam’s transfer page and explained clearly that it takes literally three clicks to transfer ownership to me. He rejected my request.”

This is not new for the company as in the past, their sudden changes have also affected the DC franchise. Films like Batgirl and Coyote vs. Acme plus various TV shows were cancelled at the last minute.
