‘Darkest day’: Environmental group slams reforms to Environmental Protection Act

Concerns have been raised by leading environmental groups over reforms to Government legislation intended to fast-track the approval processes for major resource projects.

Protestors gathered outside Parliament House in Perth on August 14 as Premier Roger Cook announced the Environmental Protection Act Amendment Bill 2024 on behalf of Environment Minister Reece Whitby.
