The big question here is why someone has $60,0000 cash on them and why the ***** would they leave that much money, or really any money, inside their car while they go eat in a restaurant? We know some will automatically assume a big wad of cash is ***** money, and quite a few law enforcement agencies do the same, but the woman says her and her husband own a construction business and she just got a large cash payment. We’d recommend going straight to the bank with those kinds of funds, or at least holding onto it inside the restaurant, because an unattended vehicle isn’t exactly Fort Knox. What we do know is we don’t even leave $20 in the glovebox of our vehicles for this very reason. But wait, there’s more: in the badgecam footage, we learn the husband had given the thief who was sitting on a bench outside a **********. When the woman commented on how nice the Chevy Corvette was, the guy gladly showed off the vehicle, opening it up, etc. That allowed the suspect to case it out. But wait, it gets even better: the wife admits the $60,000 that was in her purse, which was sitting in the car, also contained her key to the Corvette. As with most modern cars, the C7 has keyless entry and ignition, so leaving a key inside means possibly anyone can walk up, open the car, start up the engine, and drive off. Story continues You might think what this woman did was unusual, but you wouldn’t believe how many people leave the key to their vehicle sitting in the cupholder or center console all the time because they just don’t want to have to carry and remember it. This is why we wonder if technology is making people dumber and lazier. Lloyd Martin, 20, whose family is from Cardiff, made history earlier this year as the youngest person in his learning disability category to complete a marathon. While constant dance breaks meant he did not beat his London time in New York, it gained him a new host of fans. “I’m so unbelievably proud,” said his mum, Ceri Hooper. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think he would he would ever be running alongside me.” Lloyd’s cross-continental marathon journey began at a young age, as an avid enjoyer of many sports including running, gymnastics and playing football for Special Olympics clubs. “He had said a few times he’d like to run a marathon, but I really didn’t take him seriously,” said Ceri, a marathon runner herself. The following D-Link models are affected by the issue: DNS-320 Version 1.00, DNS-320LW Version 1.01.0914.2012, DNS-325 Version 1.01, Version 1.02, and DNS-340L Version 1.08. Unfortunately for the users of these devices, D-Link declined to release a security patch for this issue, noting that “Products that have reached their EOL/EOS no longer receive device software updates and security patches and are no longer supported by D-Link.” The affected models have all reached their end-of-life/end-of-service date as of 2020, and “D-Link US recommends retiring and replacing D-Link devices that have reached EOL/EOS.” Netsecfish conducted an FOFA of the affected D-Link models, and the platform returned 61,147 results with 41,097 unique IP addresses.
