  1. Hologram aims to solve **** worker’s ******* Hologram aims to solve **** worker’s ******* A hologram of a young **** worker haunts Amsterdam’s red light district. Dressed in faded denim hotpants, a leopard-print ****, with a tattoo snaking up her stomach and across her chest, the 3D computer-generated image reaches out and appears to knock on the window to attract attention. She leans forward, breathes on the glass and writes the word “help”. The hologram is designed to represent Bernadette “Betty” Szabo, a 19-year-old woman from Hungary who was murdered a few months after giving birth in 2009. Her fatal stabbing has baffled police for 15 years. Dutch cold case detectives are using the innovative technology for the first time in an effort to solve the case. The murdered teenager’s image is being projected from behind a window, alongside hundreds of young women who continue to make a living in this notoriously risky industry. Investigators hope the lifelike hologram will help jog memories and draw attention to the unsolved *******. Until now, Betty’s ******* has eluded justice and cold case detective Anne Dreijer-Heemskerk is determined to change that: “A young woman, only 19, taken from life in such a horrific way.” Szabo had a tough life and her story was one of hardship and resilience, according to the detective. She had moved to Amsterdam aged 18 and became pregnant soon afterwards. She carried on working throughout her pregnancy, returning to the job shortly after her son was born. It was in the early hours of 19 February 2009, when two **** workers went to check on the teenage mother during a break between clients, because they realised her usual music was not playing. When they entered her ********, a small room with a plastic-covered bed, vanity table and sink, they discovered Betty Szabo’s body. She had been murdered three months after giving birth, the victim of a savage ****** *******. Her baby was placed in foster care and never got to know his mother – a fact that motivates detectives. Although police immediately launched a ******* investigation, her ******* was never found. They combed through CCTV footage and questioned potential witnesses. The majority of people eyeing the scantily dressed women behind the red neon windows are tourists. Police suspect the perpetrator came from abroad. Now they are urging people who may have visited Amsterdam to think back, with a €30,000 reward to encourage witnesses to come forward. As Amsterdam grapples with controversial plans to relocate its famous brothels to an out-of-town “******* zone”, Betty Szabo’s hologram offers a poignant reminder of the vulnerability of **** workers in an area that, despite a range of security measures, ******** perilous. **** workers have voiced concerns that removing the women who sell **** from public view could expose them to even greater danger. The fact that such a violent ****** could occur in one of the Netherlands’ busiest nightspots without witnesses coming forward continues to confound investigators. In the historic red-light district where she once lived and worked, the teenage **** worker’s digital presence reminds passers-by that her case is yet to be solved. 2. ****** Ops 6 Players Hate This Perk So Much That Treyarch Had to Nerf It Twice in a Single Week ****** Ops 6 Players Hate This Perk So Much That Treyarch Had to Nerf It Twice in a Single Week The recent launch of ****** Ops 6 has been met with great excitement, particularly due to its immersive campaign, which has won praise from both critics and players. However, not all aspects of the game have enjoyed universal acclaim, especially in the multiplayer mode. One perk, in particular, has caused significant frustration among players: the Recon Combat Specialty. The developers are actively listening to player feedback and making changes accordingly. | Image Credit: Treyarch Initially designed to give players a tactical advantage by temporarily highlighting enemies through walls, the Recon perk was meant to be a powerful tool in the multiplayer arsenal. On paper, it seemed like a great addition. In practice, however, it has had a negative impact on gameplay, frustrating many players. So much so, that Treyarch has been forced to nerf it twice in the same week. Treyarch Nerfs Recon Combat Perk Twice in ****** Ops 6 The Recon Combat Specialty perk was designed to temporarily highlight enemies through walls after a player’s respawn. While this feature seemed like a tactical advantage in theory, it quickly became a problem in practice. However, the time for which the opponent highlighted enemies was too long, making them incredibly easy to track and eliminate. It made the initial fights after respawn feel like an unfair disadvantage for players on the receiving end. Treyarch heard the frustration from the players and addressed the issues immediately. Initially, the perk was set to highlight enemies for 1.5 seconds after respawning. While this change was an improvement, it still gave players who used the Recon perk a significant edge. Since, ****** Ops 6 has fast-paced gameplay, even a second can make the difference, and spotting opponents through walls for 1.5 seconds was too powerful. On November 8, the developers rolled out another patch with a second round of fixes and balance to the perk. This time, the duration that enemies were highlighted was reduced from 1.5 seconds to just 0.5 seconds. This was to balance the Recon perk further while preventing players from being unfairly camped at respawn points. This change has made the perk less powerful, allowing players a fairer chance to react and ****** back. However, due to the severity of the nerfs and changes made to the Recon perk, developers even added in the patch notes that it will continue to monitor player data and feedback on the perk, and may make additional changes if needed to ensure a balanced and fair experience for all. Players Looking Forward to More Content The players are looking forward to Season 1 as it will bring a lot of new content. | Image Credit: Treyarch Despite a few bugs and balance issues, ****** Ops 6 players are enjoying the multiplayer mode, which has introduced a variety of new weapons, maps, and mechanics. One of the most exciting additions is Omni Movement, a new system that has players experimenting with different playstyles and weapons to find what works best for them. While the Recon Control Speciality perk has been frustrating for the players, Treyarch is actively addressing all the issues. The latest patch not only included changes to the Recon perk but also brought a range of bug fixes and balance adjustments aimed at refining the overall gameplay experience. Looking ahead, players are excited for what’s to come, particularly with Season 1 on the horizon. New maps, weapons, and gameplay changes are set to be introduced, and the active involvement of Treyarch in listening to player feedback gives fans hope that future updates will continue to improve the game. In the end, as the developers refine ****** Ops 6 in response to community feedback, players are eager to see how the game evolves in the coming weeks. With the Recon perk still under scrutiny and new content on the way, it’s clear that the best may still be ahead. 3. Trump says Haley, Pompeo won’t be invited to join White House Trump says Haley, Pompeo won’t be invited to join White House President-elect Donald Trump announced Saturday that Nikki Haley — who served as U.S. ambassador to the ******* Nations in his first term, and then ran against him for the *********** nomination this cycle — will not be invited to join his administration. He also said that Mike Pompeo, who was both secretary of state and CIA director in Trump’s first term, would not be rejoining his Cabinet either. “I will not be inviting former Ambassador Nikki Haley, or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to join the Trump Administration, which is currently in formation,” Trump wrote. “I very much enjoyed and appreciated working with them previously, and would like to thank them for their service to our Country.” This comes after two sources familiar with the process had told CBS News that the 60-year-old Pompeo was being discussed as a possible contender for secretary of defense. The 52-year-old Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, ran for the *********** nomination in 2016, but endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida after dropping out. However, Trump still selected her to be his U.N. ambassador, a post she held until her abrupt resignation in 2018. At the time, Trump praised her, saying that she was “very special” to him and that she could return to his administration in the future, adding, “You can have your pick.” Haley did not run for president in 2020, but launched a 2024 bid against her former boss. She suspended her campaign following Super Tuesday in March, the last major *********** challenger in the field to do so. But it was not until over two months later, when she delivered an address at Milwaukee’s *********** National Convention in July, that she endorsed Trump. At the time, she said Trump had asked her to speak in a “show of unity.” In an interview with CBS News’ “Face the Nation” in September, Haley told Margaret Brennan that “I don’t agree with Trump 100% of the time.” “I don’t have to like him or agree with him 100% of the time to know that life for Americans would be better under the policies where we had strong immigration, where we had law and order, where we had an economy where we could look at opportunities, where we’ve got national security that is strong,” she said. Pompeo, who also endorsed Trump at the RNC, served for all four years of the first Trump administration. He chose not to run against Trump in 2024. Trump on Friday announced that he had selected his campaign co-chair, Susie Wiles, to be his White House chief of staff, making her the first woman in history to hold that post. It marked his first major White House staffing decision since defeating Vice President Kamala Harris to win the presidency. Kathryn Watson, Melissa Quinn, Caitlin Yilek, James LaPorta and Robert Costa contributed to this report. South ******** Lee belts WBBL record 150 with 12 sixes South ******** Lee belts WBBL record 150 with 12 sixes South ******** opener Lizelle Lee has blasted 12 sixes in a WBBL individual record score of 150 not out for the Hobart Hurricanes against Perth Scorchers at the SCG. Lee thrashed 12 fours and 12 sixes in her 75-ball 150 not out, as her Hobart Hurricanes side amassed at total of 3-203 when batting first on Sunday. The 32-year-old reached her century with a six over long on and brought up her 150 off the final ball of the innings. Her score eclipsed Grace Harris’s 136 last year. It was a big turnaround in form for Lee, who had scored just 71 in her five previous WBBL innings this season, with a top score of 38. “I have to give credit to everybody in our team that kept on believing in me and when I was doubting myself and crying and couldn’t stop they were there and also my family supported me so much,” Lee told Seven. She dominated a third-wicket stand of 114 with captain Elyse Villani, who contributed just 14. “Elyse batted a fair bit with me and she just kept telling me to stay calm and follow my process and that’s what I did,” Lee said. 6. U.S. government issues travel warning for 3 more cruise ports U.S. government issues travel warning for 3 more cruise ports All ******* States State Department travel advisories are not created equally. The agency, for example, has given Haiti its highest-level travel advisory, a Level 4 “Do Not Travel” warning. It spells out what that means on its website. “Since March 2024, Haiti has been under a State of Emergency. ******* involving firearms are common in Haiti. They include robbery, carjackings, ******* ********, and kidnappings for ransom. Kidnapping is widespread, and U.S. citizens have been victims and have been hurt or *******…Kidnapping cases often involve ransom requests. Victims’ families have paid thousands of dollars to rescue their family members,” it shared on Sept. 18. Related: Royal Caribbean offers 3 new ****** Friday drink packages That warning has led to a lot of Royal Caribbean passengers being concerned when they see Labadee, Haiti on their cruise itinerary. The reality, however, is that Labadee is a fenced-in, guarded section of Haiti that’s nowhere near a population center. There are no excursions outside the protected area in Labadee, and if an ****** mob did decide to head toward Royal Caribbean’s private beach destination, the cruise line would have plenty of time to evacuate passengers and staff safely. So, just because the State Department issues a warning about a destination, that does not mean you should not go there. It is, however, important to read exactly what the U.S. government agency is worried about so you can follow that advice. Sign up for the Come Cruise With Me newsletter to save money on your next (or your first) cruise. What each State Dept. travel warning means The U.S. State Department uses a four-level warning system and only destinations it only tells travelers not to visit a location when it issues a Level 4 warning. The four levels are: Level 1 – Exercise Normal Precautions. This is the lowest advisory level for safety and security risk. There is some risk in any international travel. Conditions in other countries may differ from those in the ******* States and may change at any time. Level 2 – Exercise Increased Caution. Be aware of heightened risks to safety and security. The Department of State provides more advice for travelers to these areas in the Travel Advisory. Conditions in any country may change at any time. Level 3 – Reconsider Travel. Reconsider travel due to serious risks to safety and security. The Department of State provides additional advice for travelers in these areas in the Travel Advisory. Conditions in any country may change at any time. Level 4 – Do Not Travel. This is the highest advisory level due to greater likelihood of life-threatening risks. The U.S. government may have very limited ability to provide assistance, including during an emergency. The Department of State advises that U.S. citizens not travel to the country or to leave as soon as it is safe to do so. We advise that you write a will prior to traveling and leave DNA samples in case of worst-case scenarios. All four are warnings, but you can see that Level 3 and Level 4 are very severely worded. In nearly all cases, cruise lines would not stop in those ports. Be the first to see the best deals on cruises, special sailings, and more. Sign up for the Come Cruise With Me newsletter. Exercise increased caution in these 3 cruise ports On Nov. 7 and Nov. 8, the State Department issued new or revised warnings for three destinations that major cruise lines call on. That includes one, El Salvador, where the warning has been downgraded from Level 3 to Level 2. While ****** ******** a concern in El Salvador, there has been a significant reduction in gang-related activity and associated ****** in the last two years. This includes drops in violent ******* and murders. U.S. government employees may travel throughout the country during daylight hours. Largely due to infrastructure concerns, U.S. government employees may not travel between cities or departments after dark, except for the route between San Salvador and El Salvador’s international airport and between San Salvador and La Libertad. Government employees are also restricted from using public buses. Carnival’s Holland America Line and Princess Cruises stop in El Salvador on Panama Canal crossing sailings, as do Norwegian’s Oceania and Regent Seven Seas brands. ALSO READ: Top travel agents share how to get the best price on your cruise Located on *******’s west coast, Togo may not be the first place Americans think of when cruising, but it’s a popular stop that’s called on by Regent Seven Seas, Oceania, and Carnival’s Seabourn brand. Its level has been downgraded from a Level 1 warning to a Level 2 due to “terrorism, ******, civil unrest, and kidnapping, according to the State Department. ********** and ********** groups are active in Togo, particularly in areas bordering Burkina Faso and Northern Benin. Attacks in these areas can occur with little or no warning, and could target shops, markets, hotels, places of worship, restaurants, bars, schools, government buildings, transportation hubs, and other places where crowds gather. Violent attacks are far more likely in the northern areas of Togo than in the southern and coastal areas. Lastly, the State Department has added some more information to its Level 2 warning about travel to South ******* to reflect new information on kidnappings. Violent ****** is common and includes armed robbery, *****, carjacking, and mugging. There are also “smash-and-grab” attacks on vehicles. Violent ****** is more common in the downtown areas of big cities, especially after dark…There is a threat of kidnapping across South *******. In the past, kidnappers have targeted U.S. citizens and other foreign travelers. 7. Manchester hosts Shawn Mendes, Raye and Rita Ora Manchester hosts Shawn Mendes, Raye and Rita Ora MTV Rita Ora will host the global awards bonanza for the third time Stars will descend on Manchester on Sunday for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, with a cast list including Shawn Mendes, Raye and South ******** singer Tyla. Pop star Rita Ora will host the ceremony, which is being staged in the *** for the first time since 2017, with home town hero Liam Gallagher among the nominees. Taylor Swift leads the nominations with seven in total, including best artist and best video for Fortnight, her duet with Post Malone. She was up for the same number last year, but the ceremony, which was due to take place in Paris, was cancelled following the outbreak of the *******-Gaza war. Other nominees include US singers Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish, alongside British acts Central Cee, Adele, Fred Again and Coldplay. Many are unable to attend, however, with Eilish, Swift, Carpenter and Roan all touring outside the ***. Here are six moments to look out for at the show, which will take place at the Co-op Live arena, six months after the venue’s troubled opening. It will be broadcast in the *** on MTV and Pluto TV from 21:00 GMT on Sunday and on Channel 5 from 22:00 GMT. 1) Taylor Swift and Beyoncé could break recordsGetty Images Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are two of the most-awarded stars at the MTV Awards In September, Swift became the most awarded artist in the history of the ********* branch of the MTV Awards, with 30 trophies in all. She can’t quite match that achievement in Europe. Even if she takes home all seven of the prizes she’s nominated for, she’ll only equal Justin Bieber’s record of 22 MTV EMA honours. However, Swift could become the first person to win best artist three times. She is currently tied with Shawn Mendes on two. Elsewhere, Beyoncé could become the first person to win song of the year three times. But her country hit Texas Hold ‘Em faces strong competition from two of the songs of the summer – Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso and Chapel Roan’s Good Luck, *****. 2) Busta Rhymes is going back to his rootsGetty Images Busta Rhymes is one of the biggest-selling hip-hop artists of all time It might seem odd giving Brooklyn-born rapper Busta Rhymes a lifetime achievement prize in Manchester… but the musician has an unlikely connection to north-west England. Before he developed his rapid-***** rap delivery, 11-year-old Rhymes spent two summers living with his Aunt Velma in Morecambe. “That’s a fact,” he told BBC 1 Xtra’s Nadia Jae last year. “I’d never seen a white and a ****** person go [to school] together until I came here. “When I was 11 years old, that was the first time I saw that in my life. In Lancashire, in Preston, in Morecambe, in Blackpool.” Regarded as one of the greatest MCs of all time, he’s due to perform a greatest hits medley – which could include tracks such as Break Ya Neck, Woo-Hah!! Got You All In Check, and Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See. The star said he was “beyond honoured” to get the global icon prize, saying the recognition was “not only a celebration of my career but also of hip-hop culture”. 3) A rumoured tribute to Liam PayneGetty Images Liam Payne was a regular visitor at the MTV Awards, both with One Direction and as a solo artist It’s been widely reported – although not confirmed – that the ceremony will include a tribute to Liam Payne, who ***** in Argentina last month after falling from a hotel balcony. The Sun reported last month that producers were “keen” to remember the singer, who won 12 MTV EMAs as part of One Direction. He later used the ceremony to launch his solo career, performing his global smash hit Strip That Down at the 2017 ceremony. If the plans go ahead, Ora is likely to lead the tributes. She duetted with the star on the 2018 hit For You, and he later called her “a true friend”. Last month, she broke down on stage in Japan while performing For You to honour Payne. “I can’t even sing this right now,” she told fans, holding her head in her hands. 4) Le Sserafim make their *** debutGetty Images Le Sserafim (L-R): Kazuha, Eunchae, Chaewon, Yunjin and Sakrua K-pop band Le Sserafim are having a stellar year. They played the Coachella festival, topped the US album sales chart, and even lit up the Empire State Building in “fearless blue” to celebrate the release of their Crazy EP. But Chaewon, Sakura, Kazuha, Eunchae and Yunjin have never been to the ***… until now. They’ll make their live debut at the EMAs, where they’re in the running for three prizes including best new artist. Speaking to the BBC last month, the band said playing the *** was on their must-do list. “Oh my ****, we would so honoured to play in England,” said Yunjin. “I actually went to London on my own for a vacation – my first vacation – so it’d be awesome to go as a team, all together. “Covent Garden was so pretty. It’d be so fun to busk there!” Based on their past performances, the five-piece will be planning something a little more elaborate than singing around a hat with a bashed-up guitar. 5) **** Shop Boys go orchestralGetty Images **** Shop Boys are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut single Two weeks after launching their tea set, **** Shop Boys will receive the inaugural “pop pioneers” award at the EMAs. The prize recognises “their contribution to the world of pop music, including the groundbreaking sonic and visual spectacles they create for their fans”. The award comes as the band mark the 40th anniversary of their debut single, West End ******. Since then, they’ve scored 22 top 10 hits in the ***, including four number ones, and have just released a cover of the David Bowie/Mott The Hoople classic All The Young Dudes. To celebrate, they’ll put on a special performance backed by the Manchester Camerata orchestra. 6) A few surprises?PA Media When Eva Longoria asked her designer to copy Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress, this isn’t what she had in mind It wouldn’t be the MTV Awards without a show-stopping entrance or two. Who can forget Stormzy arriving in a police car at the 2017 show? Or Britney Spears kicking her way out of a block of Kryptonite in 1999? The hosts have had their moments, too. In 2010, actress Eva Longoria presented part of the show dressed as a giant Spanish ham (see above), while Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose spent 2015 ********* flame-throwers into the air. Then there are the props – Lady Gaga performing Marry The Night on top of the Moon, or Bebe Rexha singing I Got You to a massive, furry letter “U” (this actually happened in real life and isn’t a Sesame Street fever dream). With performances in Manchester by Raye, Mendes, Tyla, Peso Pluma, The Warning, Teddy Swims and Benson Boone, there are bound to be a few surprises in store. 8. Walkway for Trevi Fountain, tourists can’t toss coins Walkway for Trevi Fountain, tourists can’t toss coins Tourists in Rome won’t be allowed to toss coins over their shoulders into the Trevi Fountain, following tradition, though a new elevated walkway now gives limited access to the monument during maintenance work. Rome Mayor Roberto Gualtieri inaugurated the steel walkway on Saturday, saying it will provide tourists with a close-up view of the fountain and calling it a “unique experience” that won’t be ruined by overcrowding. The walkway over the fountain’s basin will be able to accommodate about 130 people at a time. But tourists won’t be allowed to toss coins from there, as the fountain is currently drained, and could face a 50-euro ($A81) fine if they do, the mayor warned. City lore has it that tossing a coin into the Baroque fountain will ensure a return trip to Rome. Gualtieri said a small pool has been set up next to the walkway to collect the coins, which are donated to the Caritas charity to fund meals for people in need. The walkway will remain until the end of the maintenance work, which is expected to finish by year’s end. Rome city officials are devising a plan to block off the area around the fountain. Under the plan, visitors will be required to book online and pay two euros. Once inside, they will have 30 minutes to enjoy the fountain. In a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, the 39-year-old Golden said he’s retained an attorney, Ken Turkel to advise him on his ability to bring defamation claims while the confidential inquiry is ongoing. Turkel is a trial attorney with a national practice focusing on the prosecution and defense of complex business and civil litigation matters, as well as media and privacy rights litigation. “My family and I appreciate the support we have received and remain confident that the university will continue its efforts to finish this review promptly,” Golden said. The formal Title IX complaint was initiated Sept. 27. Golden coached UF through the preseason and its first two games of the season, against USF and Jacksonville. Florida next plays Monday night at the O’Connell Center against Grambling. Golden is accused in the complaint of stalking, including on more than one occasion taking pictures of women walking or driving and sending those pictures to the subjects of the photos. So you pack your bathers and all your beach essentials, get in the car and make your way to the nearest beach. Then, after spending a few agonising minutes searching for the perfect spot, you lay down your towel and settle in for an afternoon of bliss. Then the piercing sound of someone’s speakers hits your left eardrum – you sit up and see another group of people setting up their tent and towels directly next to you, blasting music from their speakers to the surrounding strangers. Camera IconYou’ve found the perfect spot for your towel, now what? NewsWire / Simon Bullard. Credit: News Corp Australia Beach etiquette is a tricky subject; while you want everyone to have a great time enjoying the crashing waves, some people can quickly take these privileges a little too far. According to Kate Heussler, entrepreneur and etiquette expert, a trip to the beach can quickly turn to an excruciating affair unless you follow “a few golden rules”. It starts with the right spot to place your towel or tent – the best tip is to keep your distance between strangers, within reason. “Imagine arriving at a near-empty restaurant, and someone sits right next to you — it’s a bit odd, right?” she asked. “Give people their personal ‘beach bubble’.’ Camera IconPractising good beach etiquette can help make lazy summer days a breeze. NewsWire / Simon Bullard. Credit: News Corp Australia Of course, during peak beach periods, this can be easier said than done. “Peak summer days and holidays are typically when room to spread out isn’t always possible,” Heussler said. “On those days you can’t be too picky, grab a spot of sand where you can. On a typical beach day, I’d say a good beach guideline is a couple of metres at least — enough space to avoid a surprise suntan oil splash or a sand-covered beach bag.” The same goes for setting up your tent; avoid placing it directly in front of another person’s view. “It’s like blocking someone’s view at the movies but without the popcorn,” Heussler said. “Check sightlines and set up a bit off to the side.” Camera IconIt’s better to keep your tunes PG if you plan on blasting it to the public. NewsWire / Simon Bullard. Credit: News Corp Australia The key to getting the perfect spot? Plan ahead. “If you plan ahead, you might be one of the first ones down at the beach, in which case you have ‘pick of the litter’, as they say,” she continued. And when it comes to music, there’s the right time and place to blast your bops. “The beach is a public space, and everyone’s on their own ‘vibe’ — so we don’t want to impose our soundtrack on unsuspecting sunbathers,” said Heussler. “Unless you’re hosting a beach party (and you’ve sent out the invites), keep it low or consider earphones.” If you do plan on playing music, keep in mind others attending the area, such as families with young children. Camera IconBeachgoers are urged to consider their surroundings. NewsWire / Simon Bullard. Credit: News Corp Australia “Be mindful of your surroundings; there is a time and place for everything,” she added. When it comes to keeping the peace at the beach, Heussler offered a few essential rules beachgoers should follow: 1. Keep your sand to yourself. Flicking, kicking, or flinging sand may seem like child’s play, but it’s no fun when it ends up in someone’s sandwich! 2. Eyes off the fries. Seagulls are masters of theft though we don’t have to make it easy for them. Don’t feed them — no one wants a seagull party invading their picnic. 3. Tidy your tide zone. Take every trace with you, from snack wrappers to plastic straws. Leave the beach like you found it (****** the seaweed). Irish man suspected of ******** US nurse arrested in Hungary Irish man suspected of ******** US nurse arrested in Hungary A 37-year-old Irish man has been arrested in connection with the ******* of an ********* nurse in Hungary, police say. Mackenzie Michalski, 31, from Portland, Oregon, was reported missing after a night out in Hungary’s capital, Budapest, on Tuesday. Officers said the suspect was identified through CCTV footage and later confessed to ******** Ms Michalski, but claimed her ****** had been an accident. In a statement, put out on Saturday, police said the man had attempted to conceal Ms Michalski’s ****** by renting a car, putting her body in a suitcase and hiding it in woodland near the village of Szigliget in the country’s west. Officers said Ms Michalski was ******* during an “intimate encounter” with the suspect, but did not provide any further details. He was arrested there on Thursday evening, and has been remanded in custody. After being questioned, the suspect showed detectives where he had disposed of Ms Michalski’s body, the police statement said. It added that the man had placed the nurse’s body in a wardrobe while he cleaned his apartment – in a bid to “remove traces” of the alleged ******* – before driving to the woods. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom review – Princess Priceless | TechStomper The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom review – Princess Priceless | TechStomper CCG writes – “Overall, I did greatly enjoy my time playing Echoes of Wisdom, and I would highly recommend it. It didn’t give me as much freedom as Breath of the Wild or especially Tears of the Kingdom did, but I actually like it more than both of them. Those games are a bit too free in what they allow you to do, which left me more bored than anything. In a sentence, Echoes of Wisdom is focused, tight, creative, and a breath of fresh air, but it doesn’t impress in all areas. 15. England in West Indies: Phil Salt hits century to power tourists to victory in first T20 England in West Indies: Phil Salt hits century to power tourists to victory in first T20 Phil Salt powered a superb century to take England to a commanding eight-wicket victory over West Indies in the first T20 in Barbados. After a disappointing defeat in the one-day international series, Salt struck an unbeaten 103 off 54 ****** on the island he used to call home as England cruised to a pursuit of 183. It was the opener’s third T20 hundred for England – all three of which have come against West Indies in the past 12 months. He crashed his first 50 runs in just 25 ****** as England took 73 from the first six overs for the loss of only Will Jacks for 17. Captain Jos Buttler was sensationally caught for a golden duck on his return to the side after four months out injured but Salt continued, dropping down the gears with the required run-rate under control, as England pulled off the highest T20 chase at the Kensington Oval with 19 ****** to spare. Jacob Bethell, another with Bajan roots, finished unbeaten on 58 from 36 ****** alongside Salt, in the process becoming the youngest man to hit a T20 fifty for England, aged 21. Earlier, West Indies made their imposing total in remarkable fashion, reaching 183-9 despite falling to 18-3 and 117-8. They managed a further 65 runs in the last 5.2 overs after the eighth wicket fell, with number 10 Gukadesh Motie, who later produced the stunning catch to dismiss Buttler, flogging 33 from 14 ******. That came as England lost their grip despite a strong start to the innings, with Saqib Mahmood taking 4-34 and Adil Rashid 3-32. The second of five T20s begins on Sunday at the same ground from 20:00 GMT. England will wait on the fitness of Reece Topley, who left the field visibly emotional after jarring his knee midway through his third over – the latest ***** to a bowler who has had a cruel run of injuries throughout his career. 17. ‘So much fun’ for Suaalii as he’s hailed by Wallabies ‘So much fun’ for Suaalii as he’s hailed by Wallabies Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii has been hailed as “freak” and “great” with his Wallabies’ squadmates in awe of his striking debut in the gold shirt following the gilded code-hopper’s man-of-the match display against England at Twickenham. The modest 21-year-old sounded as if being thrust into the international cauldron before he’s even played a game of senior club rugby was just child’s play as he put on a show for his folks and was left smiling: “Honestly, I had so much fun out there.” Suaalii made it seem absurd that he’d not played a game of rugby union for five years as, for the most part, he looked as if he’d never been away from the sport he had lit up as a schoolkid. Playing a full 80-minute part, helping create one try and proving influential with his excellent offloading, staying upright in the tackle and terrific high-ball challenging, the former NRL star was the toast of his more experienced teammates. “Obviously, it was a baptism of *****. He’s put straight in there – but he was great, did his job, and he’ll learn. And he’ll get better,” was the glowing verdict of Fraser McReight, who reckoned Suaalii was key to their last-gasp winning try in the 42-37 victory. From the restart after England had just gone ahead through a 79th minute Maro Itoje try, McReight noted: “I didn’t know what to feel. We had another minute to go, and what had been working us all game was ‘get Joseph up in the air’. “He did that very well and we were able to get the ball back.” Indeed, from the resultant scrum after Itoje knocked on under Suaalii’s keen attention, winger Max Jorgensen was able to be freed for the expertly-worked seven-phase winning score down the left edge. Watched by his parents who had flown in to London, the highlight of the youngster’s tour de force came with a league-style pop pass over onrushing England defenders that sent Tom Wright away for Australia’s first score that launched their comeback. “I just soaked up the whole moment of putting the Wallabies jersey on, it was a very special thing for my family and I,” Suaali said in a post-match TV interview. “Honestly, I had so much fun out there, and I was just glad to get the win.” Of his teammates heaping praise on him, he just added coyly: “Yeah, it’s good things that they’re saying, but I’ve come in, I’m 21 years old, and I feel like I’m just being myself. I’ve just loved the energy from all the boys.” For coach Joe Schmidt, it felt like the reward for Suaalii’s efforts in training over the week. “Joseph obviously got a few kick-offs back for us – he’s an aerial freak – but at the same time, it was a good learning experience,” said Schmidt, suggesting that people could now see why he was worth the ‘risk’ of playing. “Particularly the way he prepared during the week, he was really professional. He was also really well supported (in the centres) by Lenny Ikitau, who was outstanding. “He’s still probably finding his feet in the game – there are such subtleties that are very different – but with his diligent work ethic, that professionalism and the athleticism that he possesses, I thought it was a really confidence-boosting debut.” Source link #fun #Suaalii #hes #hailed #Wallabies Pelican News View the full article at [Hidden Content]

India says oil prices would have rocketed without its Russian imports India says oil prices would have rocketed without its Russian imports NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Global oil prices “would have hit the roof” if big importer India had not bought oil from Russia following the Ukraine war, India’s oil minister said, adding that prices would determine where the country buys oil from. India, the world’s third largest oil importer and consumer, has become the top buyer of discounted Russian sea-borne oil shunned by Western countries since Ukraine’s invasion began in early 2022. Before that, India bought little oil from its long-running defence partner, Russia. New Delhi has repeatedly defended its purchases from Russia as necessary to keep prices in check in the developing country of 1.42 billion people. “What many around the world don’t seem to realise is that global oil prices would have hit the roof if India had not bought oil from Russia,” India’s oil minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, wrote on X late on Friday. “We owe it to our citizens – India will buy oil from wherever our companies get the best rates.” India’s crude oil imports from Russia rose by 11.7% to about 1.9 million barrels per day in September, accounting for about two-fifths of the South ****** nation’s overall crude imports in the month. This is possibly unfair, because as I know from experience it can be a very tricky thing to think of a clue that is helpful without giving the game away. After all, ‘nice fit’ works perfectly well for the spangram, WELLSUITED, and for some of today’s answers – for instance LEISURE and JUMP.
