We fully support advancing social justice by advocatingequality for all. We are also a solely volunteer-managed organization that has not and will notengage in policy or political advocacy of any kind.

We regret the insensitive post that appeared on the Red Dress Run social media platform. It wasremoved as quickly as possible, and the former Board Member who made the post is no longerassociated with our organization. Our event is a social gathering meant to bring people of allwalks of life together to raise money for those in need. We have raised over $2 million for worthy causes. August 10th is our 30th anniversary run, and we look forward to another successful celebration that will contribute significantly to uniting our community.”

New Orleans Jazz Museum showcases the life of Louis Armstrong

The Red Dress Run is an annual charity event hosted by the New Orleans Hash House Harriers to raise money for community causes.

Residents and visitors of New Orleans register each summer to throw on their best red dresses and bar hop through the French Quarter.

2024 will mark the organization’s 30th year. On Aug. 10 at 9 a.m., participants will meet at  Crescent Park for running, music, food and *****.

Organizers said since its beginning, the event has raised more than $2 million with more than 3,000 participants each year.
