The ***** of a further 5000 annual patient licenses through its master distributor CG1 Solutions will enable more veterans to get better access to their medical imaging records. Management says its technology has established positive traction in the State of Florida where its first 5000 patient licenses were sold, after it made several technical improvements to the onboarding process, in addition to marketing activities and events that helped boost the awareness of the initiative for veterans. The new order for the second batch of licenses was received from the initial purchaser, TechWorks4Good, via CG1. When in active service, a veteran’s healthcare is provided through the Military Health System (MHS) with medical records of personnel kept on CDs enabling doctors within the MHS to retrieve medical records and images using the internal system. However, once discharged, veterans are often unable to retrieve and share their images, unless they request their medical records on the CDs. The beauty of the company’s 3Dicom software for veterans is that it allows them to upload and share medical records from their “3Dicom Patient” account through online, desktop and mobile applications, greatly enhancing accessibility, portability and continuity of care. The program allows practitioners such as surgeons, radiologists and dentists the ability to convert conventional two-dimensional MRI, CT and **** scans into immersive 3D images. The improved imaging provides a clearer insight into a patient’s medical problems and enables better surgical planning. We are very pleased to be helping a further 5000 Veterans to unlock the value in their medical images and look forward to further expansion as we look to provide the more than 18 million veterans in the USA with our 3Dicom software that helps them benefit from faster, easier and more portable access to their medical imaging, in line with the objectives of the PACT Act. CG1 is an information technology (IT) firm based in South Florida that is owned and run by veterans and military service-disabled veterans. It has experience in developing virtual reality and mobile applications in the defence and healthcare markets. The latest ***** to TechWorks4Good will see Singular deploy the licenses from the start of next month, with payments to be made in two equal instalments – in six months and one year after the contract start date for a total value of about $80,000. Management believes the combined orders for 10,000 patient licenses in total is potentially just the tip of the iceberg as there are an estimated 18 million veterans nationwide in the US, providing plenty of opportunity for growth with the software licensing. The passing in August 2022 of the Honoring our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act may also prove significant for Singular on the back of its license orders. PACT provides for US$797 billion (AU$1177 billion) in spending to significantly improve healthcare access and funding for veterans who were exposed to toxic substances during their military service. In conjunction with the introduction of the Veterans Health Care Freedom Act to US Congress last year, it is expected to increase the need for medical imaging and enhanced portability among the veteran community. It all means that Singular’s initial patient license orders could be just be a dipping of the toe in the waters before the masses of US veterans move to open the floodgates.
