Capcom has announced a remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica.

Simply titled Resident Evil Veronica, the game will be released in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2 and PC.

Originally released in 2000 and overseen by series creator Shinji Mikami, Code Veronica was a Dreamcast exclusive, but later made it to PS2 and GameCube. The game – which canonically fits in between Resident Evil 2 and 3 – follows Claire Redfield and her brother, Chris Redfield, as they fight to survive an outbreak on a remote prison island.
