Battlefield 2042’s Lack of Quality Potentially Explained by Theory Proving EA Don’t Know What It’s Doing

The design director of Battlefield 2042, Daniel Berlin, once said that the maps in the game are “several smaller maps stitched together.” That was true for the entire game when fans finally got to play it. They now feel developers held it together with glue and tape.

Sure, the RendeZook in its trailer made the hair at the back of the viewers neck stand, but the cinematic wasn’t a reality that the fans were about to confront. Now the hope dangles on the next Battlefield game, as they hope to see the beloved military shooter return to its former glory.

Users Have Got Their Own Reasons to Call It a Bad Game

The game had a fair share of its criticism in its lifetime. Some players are still playing it and enjoying it too. But that maybe the last bits of the users this game is seeing. Battlefield 2042 feels like the Jump Force of the series now.

As the development for the next game has picked up the pace, some fans were seen laying their opinions on the latest entry. It wasn’t really praise for the game.

A majority of the game’s initial ******** simply goes to the short span of the development time it got. The game was developed in 15 months, which explains why the stitches burst open and the need to fix it with glue and tape, as the fans believe.

Before the development of the game began, DICE saw 19 senior developers saying goodbye to the studio. They all left solely owing to the lack of creative freedom. While they had some great ideas to implement, Electronics Arts (EA) was more into getting ahead of its competition.

Now what happened, happened, and EA has now moved on to writing the next chapter in the Battlefield book. But then it’ll take a lot to repair the damage the last entry inflicted. Especially when fans are already making up their minds on

Battlefield is currently on the ******’s edge; one bad move and its legacy will go down the drain. They better take the time to release the next game in the series rather than stacking it up with several updates after fans have rejected it already.
