As is always the case, these events are a hotspot for enthusiasts to find leaks and inside details that Activision hasn’t revealed otherwise. This year’s Next event was no different, with leaks surfacing out from the event. However, it looks like Activision has not been a fan of leaks, as one employee took matters into his own hands and was seen engaging in passive-aggressive behavior with a streamer. Image credit: Treyarch ****** Ops 6 leaks have been revolving around for a while now. From details regarding the zombie mode or in-game screenshots, the community has seen many leaks over the past few months. That said, the parent companies of games usually don’t appreciate leaks as they essentially spoil the fun and mess with the timeline of release. Whatever the case may be, leaks have always come out for games, especially if they have as big of a fandom as COD does. For months now, we have seen several leaks come out for the upcoming ****** Ops 6. There is no doubt that the company wouldn’t be pleased with so many leaks, and this was evident in one employee of the company who made some controversial comments during the event. Most unprofessional thing I’ve seen in a long time. An employee should NEVER be yelling at someone in public, pointing fingers in their face, and making thinly veiled threats because of a menu screenshot. Childish. During the interaction, the employee asked about another well-known streamer in the COD community, “Sage,” who was also present at the event. However, there is no proof that this is actually the case. The tone and words of the employee were also anything but pleasant, which has sparked outrage online. Many netizens have called out the employee for his unprofessional behavior. COD Next Reveals Details About Warzone Future data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Verdansk is returning to the game in 2025. Image credit: Infinity Ward By far, the highlight of the event was the confirmation of Verdansk returning to Warzone. The iconic map debuted alongside the game back in 2020 and quickly became a fan favorite. Although it was removed from the game down the line, fans constantly demanded to bring it back. Verdansk is set to return in 2025. The exact date of the release hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it is expected to be released in the spring. Furthermore, which version of Verdansk will be made available isn’t clear as it went through several changes throughout its availability. Warzone has also added a new map for the current season, Area 99. It is compact and small in size, promoting more chaotic gameplay. Furthermore, Area 99 is also the birthplace of Nuketown, another COD map that is very popular. Do you agree with Activision’s employee behavior during COD Next?
