The company has breadcrumbing information, and who could blame them? The sequel to the 2011 release has been one of the most requested for over a decade in the community. With the chance to once again play as Captain (now Lieutenant) Titus now less than two weeks away, the company has revealed the content roadmap for the game, and it’s gotten everyone excited. Space Marine 2 Season Pass Roadmap Promises Highly Requested Game Mode While taking down a powerful ****** can feel empowering, there’s something satisfying in mowing down waves up waves of smaller foes. Given the relentlessness of the Tyranids and other factions, these kinds of battles would fit perfectly in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and Saber Interactive aims to deliver. Despite fans being open to the game having microtransactions for DLC, it seems Focus Entertainment is taking a different approach. The company has revealed the battle plan for the game for the first year, and there are several free updates that fans can expect! A Season Pass system also exists, but it appears to be mostly just for cosmetic purposes. Seasons 1 and 2 will span the remaining months of 2024, adding ultrawide support, private PvE lobbies, and the Battle Barge Sparring Arena in September. Season 2 is going to bring some new PvE missions, lethal difficulty, a new *******, and a new ****** type. However, what’s caught fans’ attention are the inclusions coming to the game in 2025. Season 3 is going to add new PvE missions, a new PvP game mode and arenas, another ******, and a Battle Barge expansion. It’s one that people in the community have been hoping would be included in the game for a while now. Confirmation of the same is music to the community’s ears and has further fueled the already overwhelming hype that has been steadily building for the title. Fans Should Be Wary of Spoilers Floating Around the Internet Before Launch data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Get ready to swat some swarms in Space Marine 2. | Credits: Saber Interactive The company has done its best to keep fans from knowing too much about the story. But, as with many games now, details have leaked that could potentially spoil the experience for those who wish to go in ******. The community is warning fans to be wary when exploring sites such as TikTok to avoid running into such spoilers. The game might include many things the community has requested, but there will be some areas that need to be cut. The Chaos Marines are a faction that fans want to see introduced in the game, but with no announcement from Saber yet, fans may be left disappointed on this front. But, considering the team plans to add new enemies to the game via updates, all hope may not be lost for Chaos Marine enthusiasts. If Focus and Saber listen to fan feedback, we may eventually see the evil counterparts of the Space Marines in the new game. Which update to the game excited you the most?
