One of the police officers murdered at a remote Queensland property would not have survived if he’d been wearing a hard-armoured vest, a coronial inquest has been told.

Constable Matthew Arnold was murdered by Nathaniel Train using a Tikka T3 30-06 rifle within minutes of four police officers arriving at 251 Wains Rd in Wieambilla shortly after 4.30pm on December 12, 2022.
