Redding man, 19, arrested after deadly weekend ******

A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after one person ***** in a fiery ****** in Redding over the weekend, police said.

The fatal wreck was reported around 12:15 a.m. Sunday on Buenaventura Boulevard near Teton Drive.

A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter after a fiery ****** in Redding that left one person ***** over the weekend, police said.

Investigators said one passenger in the vehicle was ejected and was taken to the hospital, where the person later *****, police said.

Police did not release the victim’s name.

The other passenger, Hunter Alexander, 20, of Anderson, was not injured and was released, police said.

The driver, ********** Bennett, 19, of Redding, was arrested, police said, adding that Bennett also was allegedly driving without a license.

Bennett is being held on $500,000 bail, the Shasta County Jail
