Silverton man ***** in two-vehicle ****** on Oregon Route 224 near Estacada

An Estacada pastor riding a motorcycle ***** Saturday afternoon from injuries in a two-vehicle ****** on Oregon Route 224 near Estacada, Oregon State Police said.

A preliminary investigation found a red Ford Focus, operated by a 55-year-old Estacada man was eastbound on the highway and attempted a left turn into a driveway, crashing into a westbound ****** Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Richard Lee Detherage of Silverton, OSP said.

Troopers responded the ****** at 12:38 p.m. and performed lifesaving measure on Detherage, 71, but he was pronounced ***** at the scene.

Detherage was senior pastor at Estacada Assembly of ****.

The highway was impacted for three hours while officers investigated.
