A young Kalgoorlie-Boulder local is using her story as a “helping hand” to others living with epilepsy as she takes on a month-long step challenge to raise awareness and funds.

Kalgoorlie-born Abbey Cullen was 19 when she began hallucinating during a movie and suddenly lost consciousness for close to half an hour.
